The Moonshine Riders

So long, summer.

This year's summer was magnificent. So magnificent it ended up being a drought and now we have to conserve our water usage, but hey, it made for a really good time. (For me, not for the farmers.) It's technically been over for a couple of weeks but it is still unseasonably warm. I wouldn't even mind a week of solid rain right now to drench this dusty land. 

Here are a few of my favourite photos from summer travels, in both analogue and digital. From wild and windy dunes to city wharf jumps, and plenty of young love.

 

Peka Peka

I had the pleasure of shooting Mon's graduate collection The Oceanic Sublime late last year in the searing sun and icy cold wind of Peka Peka beach.
The girls were beautiful troopers, can't even tell how much they were shivering as I alternated between two cameras, one for stills and one for the video, which you can view here
